Snažíš se jenom přežít a je to čím dál tím těžší. Ráno vstaneš a chce se ti zvracet. Není to včerejším alkoholem, ale zprávami, které si přečteš. Je to stále dokola, dokud budeš dýchat. Lži a přetvářka, slibují ti krásný život se spoustou úsměvů. Místo toho pochoduješ do práce jako obyčejný otrok. Lepší zítřky, krásné reklamy, před špatným přivíráme oči. Konečně pátek, první pivo si dáš, když vylezeš z továrny. Hospoda, kde hledáš svobodu, abys ji nakonec našel v malém zaplivaném klubu, kde zrovna hrají thrash metal.
Takové to bylo na přelomu osmdesátých a devadesátých let minulého století. Příliš se toho za tu dobu nezměnilo, lidé nejsou ani horší, ani lepší, možná trošku hloupější, ale pořád potřebují záchytný bod ve vesmíru, něco, na co se můžou spolehnout. A proto píšu o kapelách, jako jsou Portugalsko - Švýcarští maniaci SADISTIK WARFARE. Mám tu čest poslouchat jejich nové letošní demo a rovnou na začátek říkám (nebo spíše řvu do tmy) - ano, to je přesně ono, takhle to má vypadat!!!
Prašivinou a vztekem nasáklý thrash metal, volně inspirovaný tím, co kdysi hrávaly kapely typu PROTECTOR, DESTRUCTION, SODOM, KREATOR. Samozřejmě, se současnějším zvukem a spoustou dobrých nápadů. Tenhle styl, když ho chcete dělat dobře, tak mu musíte věřit. Pánové mi nakopali zadek, pustili mi žilou, vymáchali mi ksicht v kaluži plné špíny a krve. Tohle je hudba z periférie, pro lidi, co si potřebují po těžké práci vyčistit hlavu od zbytečností. Je v ní kus rebelie, odporu proti dávno padlým modlám, proti politikům s jedovatými úsměvy. Je vlastně jedno, koho dnes volíš, stejně tě nakonec okradou. Máš sto chutí vyjít do ulic, když posloucháš "Seeds of Hate". Frustrace a vztek, nasbírané se shrbenými zády. Generace prokletých, kurva brácho, na podobné muzice jsem vyrůstal, mě se líbí a jsem rád, že jsou ještě kapely, které umí tenhle styl zahrát pořádně. Bez pozérství, bez přetvářky. Je to tak, z nového dema cítím opravdovost, krutou realitu. A tak zase jednou vstávám brzy a tančím na asfaltu. Lidé na mě koukají úkosem a říkají si, že jsem divnej, ale mýlí se. Já mám aspoň hudbu, já ještě umím na všechny hlupáky ukázat fuck off. Vychází prosím pěkně na kazetě u portugalských maniaků Selvajaria Records. A teď mě prosím omluvte, mám nějakou práci. Musím do hospody a napít se piva. Potom mě čeká malý klub na periferii. Doufám, že v něm budou hrát SADISTIK WARFARE a že to bude pořádně nahlas. Snažím se jenom přežít a je to čím dál tím těžší. That's what it was like in the late '80s and early '90s. Not too much has changed in that time, people are neither worse nor better, maybe a bit dumber, but they still need a clue in the universe, something they can rely on. And that's why I write about bands like Portugal's Swiss maniacs SADISTIK WARFARE. I have the privilege of listening to their new demo this year and right off the bat I say (or rather scream into the darkness) - yes, this is it, this is how it should be!!!
Thrash metal soaked in filth and rage, loosely inspired by what bands like PROTECTOR, DESTRUCTION, SODOM, KREATOR used to play. Of course, with a more contemporary sound and lots of good ideas. This style, if you want to do it well, you have to believe in it. Gentlemen kicked my ass, dropped my vein, washed my face in a pool of dirt and blood. This is music from the periphery, for people who need to clear their heads of uselessness after hard work. There's a piece of rebellion in it, a resistance against long fallen idols, against politicians with poisonous smiles. It doesn't really matter who you vote for these days, they'll still steal from you in the end. You feel like taking to the streets listening to "Seeds of Hate". Frustration and anger, collected with a hunched back. Generation of the damned, fuck bro, I grew up on music like that, I like it and I'm glad there are still bands that can play that style properly. No posturing, no pretense. It's true, the new demo makes me feel real, harsh reality. And so once again I get up early and dance on the asphalt. People look at me sideways and think I'm weird, but they're wrong. At least I have music, I can still point the fuck off at all the fools. It's coming out on cassette from Portuguese maniacs Selvajaria Records. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm busy. I have to go to the pub and have a beer. Then I've got a little club on the outskirts. I hope it's SADISTIK WARFARE and it's really loud. I'm just trying to survive and it's getting harder and harder. I get up in the morning and I want to throw up.
