Když jsem poprvé spatřil ve stínu ďábelskou tvář, tak jsem se vyděsil. Žhnoucí oči mě přitahovaly, zlý šepot se mi pomalu dostával do hlavy. Začal jsem toužit po čerstvé krvi. Stával jsem se postupně démonem. Kdysi jsem věřil ve světlo a doufal jsem v dobro, ale to už dávno neplatí. Toulám se podsvětím a poslouchám nové EP tureckých tmářů PERSECUTORY. Tuhle smečku sleduji od jejich počátků (předchozí recenze jsou odkazovány dole pod článkem) a pokaždé se mi líbí, jakým způsobem pracuje kapela s pochmurnými náladami.
Připadám si zahalený do krvavé mlhy. Kombinace surového death metalu a chladnou černou atmosféru vždy dělala dobře mé ztracené duši. Nové album "The Glorious Persecution" to jenom potvrzuje. Nesvatá trojice sirnatých skladeb je velmi dobře napsána. Nezbývá, než obrátit všechny kříže směrem dolů.
Líbí se mi kombinace děsivých, mrazivých nálad a zběsilých ataků, připomínajících vichřici, která se při dobré hudbě dostane do záhrobí a zůstane po ní pouze spoušť. Potkávám padlé vojáky chaosu, nahlížím do kobek, ve kterých jsou pochovány pradávné zrůdy. Oceňuji naléhavý a dobře čitelný zvuk (Emre Bingol, Can Gelgeç - recording, mastering, mixing). Pochválit musím i motiv na obalu, pod kterým je podespán Alex Shadrin, který je již poznávacím znamením tureckých maniaků. Poslouchat "The Glorioucution"s Perse" je jako vstoupit do staré jeskyně, o které se říká, že v ní přebývají hladové bestie ze starých časů. Během společných setkání s touto deskou vás roztrhají na kusy, rozervou vaše vnitřnosti. Pokud máte podobné, nihilisticky a do temných odstínů laděné kapely rádi, tak neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete poctivou porci metalového zla, špíny a nekonečné bolesti. PERSECUTORY napsali skladby, které se vám zadřou pod kůži. Začnete se vyhýbat světlu a křižovat v obráceném směru. Dívám se do tmy a sestupuji znovu a znovu dolů, do černého sklepa. Zde, v chladu a temnotě si vychutnám tuhle nahrávku nejvíce. Ohně zase hoří jasným černým plamenem! Ostré riffy se zde potkávají s ozvěnami z toho nejhlubšího podzemí. Už dávno vím, že tenhle svět jednou shoří, že bude očištěn čistým plamenem. Znovu a znovu potkávám ďábelské tváře, které se usmívají. Žhnoucí oči mě přitahují, zlý šepot se mi pomalu dostává do hlavy. Začínám toužit po čerstvé krvi. Připadám si zahalený do krvavé mlhy. Teď už vím, že peklo doopravdy existuje! Okultní, ďábelský, blasfemický black death metalový rituál! Krvavá pomsta stínům!

When I first saw the devil's face in the shadows, I was terrified. The glowing eyes drew me in, the evil whispers slowly entering my head. I began to crave fresh blood. I was gradually becoming a demon. I once believed in the light and hoped for good, but that's no longer the case. I wander the underworld and listen to the new EP of Turkish darkness PERSECUTORY. I've been following this bunch since their early days (previous reviews are linked at the bottom of the article) and each time I like the way the band works with gloomy moods.
I find myself enveloped in a bloody fog. The combination of raw death metal and cold black atmosphere has always done my lost soul good. The new album "The Glorious Persecution" only confirms this. The unholy trinity of cheesy tracks is very well written. Nothing to do but turn all crosses downwards.
I like the combination of eerie, chilling moods and frenzied attacks, reminiscent of a whirlwind that, with good music, goes to the grave and leaves only havoc in its wake. I meet fallen soldiers of chaos, peering into dungeons where ancient monsters are buried. I appreciate the urgent and clear sound (Emre Bingol, Can Gelgeç - recording, mastering, mixing). I also have to praise the motif on the cover, under which Alex Shadrin, already a trademark of Turkish maniacs, is sung. Listening to "The Glorious Persecution" is like entering an old cave, where hungry beasts from the old days are said to dwell. They will rip you apart, tear your insides apart during your encounters with this record. If you like bands like this, with their nihilistic and dark tones, don't hesitate a moment. You will get a fair portion of metal evil, filth and endless pain. PERSECUTORY have written songs that will get under your skin. You start dodging the light and cruising in the opposite direction. I look into the darkness and descend again and again, into the black basement. Here, in the cold and dark, I enjoy this recording the most. The fires are burning again with a bright black flame! Sharp riffs meet echoes from the deepest underground. I've known for a long time that this world will burn one day, that it will be cleansed by pure flame. Again and again I meet devilish faces smiling. The glowing eyes draw me in, an evil whisper slowly making its way into my head. I begin to crave fresh blood. I find myself enveloped in a bloody mist. Now I know that hell really exists! An occult, diabolical, blasphemous black death metal ritual! Blood revenge on the shadows!
