Na hranici hoří další oběť. Kněží se usmívají. Jakby také ne, když mají za sebou celou noc nekonečného mučení. Ve jménu víry odsoudili na smrt další ženu za čarodějnictví. Ne, nejsme ve středověku, dav je stále stejný. Pořád se nám líbí veřejné popravy, usmíváme se, když vidíme oheň, který spaluje tělo. Historie nás měla poučit, abychom neopakovali stále stejné chyby, ale nestalo se tak. Je jedno, čemu věříš, jen nesmíš omezovat ostatní.
Ke španělských death metalistům GUILLOTINA jsem se dostal víceméně náhodou. Zrovna jsem si dohledával informace o tamní scéně a protože mám rád Barcelonu, tak jsem si zkusil jejich hudbu poslechnout. Seděl jsem potom ve svém pokoji, spokojeně se kýval do rytmu a říkal si, že inkvizice ještě neskončila. Tohle je starý, prašivý death metal, zahraný s opravdovou krvavou jiskrou v oku.
Rád se přehrabuji ve starých kostech, s chutí se toulám v podzemí. Objevuji si pro sebe nové kapely, o kterých jsem dosud nevěděl. Ochutnávám, jako starý padlý mnich a když mě hudba zaujme, napíšu o ní několik řádků. Španělé mě zaujali svojí opravdovostí, takovým tím syrovým feelingem. Věřím jim každou notu, každý riff. Hudba, která je podpořena prašivým zvukem a poctivým temným obalem, je zahraná s jediným účelem - upálit vás na hranici. V GUILLOTINA hrají zkušení muzikanti, kteří moc dobře vědí, co a jak chtějí hrát. Představte si, že čekáte již mnoho dní na svoji smrt. Hluboko v podzemí, v chladu a o hladu, jenom s krysami, které čekají na svůj díl masa. Vyčerpáni mučením se modlíte k Bohu, který vám nikdy neodpoví. Ve svých horečnatých snech, podpořených poslechem téhle desky, ale potkáte Satana i samotnou Smrt. Pro mě je to jasný důkaz, že je "Primera sang" velmi dobrým albem, které je jasně určené pro všechny prokleté, démony i zvrácené kněze. My nepotřebujeme padlé modly, ani vznešené kostely, my máme prašivý death metal v podobě, ve které ho hraje tahle smečka. Jsem moc rád, že jsem kapelu na svých nekonečných toulkách podzemím potkal. Jejich nové album se stalo na dlouhý čas mým společníkem při záhrobních rituálech. Pokud máte tenhle styl rádi, neváhejte ani chvilku. Dostanete poctivou porci velmi dobře odvedené morbidní práce. Plesnivý death metal ze starých katakomb! Budete spáleni na popel! Temný inkviziční rituál!

I came to Spanish death metallers GUILLOTINA more or less by accident. I was just looking up information about the scene there and since I like Barcelona, I tried to listen to their music. I was sitting in my room afterwards, swaying contentedly to the beat and thinking that the inquisition is not over yet. This is dusty old death metal, played with a real bloody sparkle in its eye.
I like to rummage through old bones, I like to wander underground. Discovering new bands for myself that I didn't know about before. I taste, like a fallen old monk, and when the music catches my eye, I write a few lines about it. The Spaniards caught my attention with their realness, that raw feeling. I trust every note, every riff. The music, backed by a dusty sound and an honest dark cover, is played with one purpose - to burn you at the stake. GUILLOTINA features experienced musicians who know very well what and how they want to play. Imagine that you have been waiting many days for your death. Deep underground, cold and hungry, with only rats waiting for their share of meat. Exhausted by the torture, you pray to a God who never answers. But in your fever dreams, fueled by listening to this record, you meet Satan and Death himself. For me, this is clear proof that "Primera sang" is a very good album that is clearly meant for all the damned, demons and perverted priests. We don't need fallen idols, nor noble churches, we have dusty death metal in the form this pack plays it. I'm so glad I met the band on my endless underground wanderings. Their new album has become my companion for a long time during the afterlife rituals. If you like this style, don't hesitate a moment. You will get a fair portion of very well done morbid work. Moldy death metal from the old catacombs! You will be burnt to ashes! A dark inquisition ritual!
