Pohřební průvod plný děsivých tváří. Jakoby se sešli všichni démoni a prokletí z okolí, aby se rozloučili s lidskou bestií. Zvony hrají melodie potřísněné bolesti. Ve svěcené vodě se objeví krev a mraky jsou zase jednou hodně nízko. Malý hřbitov v horách, řada obrácených křížů. Kněz má jedovatý jazyk a Smrt se tu velmi často potkává se Satanem. Zbývá už jenom vybrat hudbu, která se bude hrát, až se rakev začne rozpadat v zemi. Španělští INTOLERNACE a jejich druhé dlouhohrající album jsou více než vhodným pokrmem ze syrového masa.
Klasický, tradiční death metal v jeho nejmorbidnější podobě. Nahrubo nasekaná tma, smíchaná se šílenstvím a chladem, který se vám jako nějaká zlá choroba usadí v kostech. Surové melodie, inspirované kapelami jako BOLT THROWER, ASPHYX, GRAVE, MORGOTH, CONVULSE, ENTOMBED, OBITUARY, DESULTORY, DISMEMBER. K tomu si připočtěte prašivý zvuk a máme tu nahrávku, která je doslova povinností pro všechny nemrtvé. Španělé na to jdou opravdově, uvěřitelně, krutě a já vám podepisuji vlastní krví, že pohřby, u kterých je jejich hudba děsivou kulisou, patří k nejlepším. Oheň zase jednou hoří černým plamenem, v márnici se dějí divné věci a staří hrobníci se kývají spokojeně do rytmu. Patřím mezi ně. Nové album si opravdu užívám. Má v sobě vše, co od dobré hudby žádám a potřebuji. Velkou porci morbidních nápadů, mlhavou atmosféru chladných rozbřesků na hřbitově. Ale hlavně temný a mrazivý otisk. Všichni máme pohřby zafixované v hlavě jako něco smutného, ale někdy, když zajíždí do země rakev s někým zlým, mohou být i oslavou. Myslete na to, až budete "Waking Nightmares of an Endless Void" poslouchat. Jedná se o reálnou, smradlavou exhumaci toho nejsyrovějšího kovu smrti. Pamatujte, že vykoupení nikdy nepřijde. Zaplatíte vlastní duší a Charón vás převeze přes řeku Styx. Potom následuje už jenom absolutní tma. A také hudba, která vás strhne do hlubin. I cesta může být cílem. Kolem se povalují bílé kosti, rozpadají se pomalu v prach. Shnijete zaživa! U téhle desky to platí na sto procent. Doporučuji všem maniakům, démonům, i nemrtvým. Pohřební průvod plný děsivých tváří. The fire once again burns with a black flame, strange things happen in the morgue and the old gravediggers sway contentedly to the beat. I'm one of them. I'm really enjoying the new album. It has everything I want and need from good music. A big helping of morbid ideas, a hazy atmosphere of cold dawns in a cemetery. But above all, a dark and chilling imprint. We all have funerals fixed in our minds as something sad, but sometimes when a coffin goes into the ground with someone bad in it, they can be a celebration. Think about that when you listen to "Waking Nightmares of an Endless Void". It's a real, stinking exhumation of the most raw metal of death. Remember, redemption never comes. You pay with your soul and Charón will ferry you across the River Styx. After that, only absolute darkness follows. And the music that will take you to the depths. Even a journey can be a destination. White bones are lying around, slowly crumbling into dust. You're rotting alive! That's 100% true for this record.
