Bestie číhající ve tmě. Žhnoucí oči a pach smrti, který ji provází. Našlo se další tělo. Roztrhané na kusy a spálené na popel. Lidé se bojí vycházet ven. Ulicemi se vznáší strach a smrt číhá na každém rohu. Nikdo se už dávno neusmívá. Na město padla tma a neproniknutelná mlha. Útočí ze zálohy, nečekaně a krutě. Démon temnoty, samotný ďábel. Je jen na vás, zda mu podlehnete. Bude lepší, když se zavřete do katakomb a budete poslouchat novou desku amerických black metalistů DEMONCY. A to do té doby, než si pro vás přijde.
Kapela datuje svůj vznik do devadesátých let minulého století. Když se podíváte do historie, tak tahle smečka nenahrála slabou desku. Pánové navěky zasvětili svůj život prokletému kovu smrti. Letos přicházejí s dalším rituálem. A to po dlouhých jedenácti letech v podzemí. Bestie se znovu probudila.
Je to klasický, tradiční a velmi ortodoxní black metal té nejvyšší kvality. Žádné kompromisy, ani zbytečnosti. Jenom na malé kusy nasekaná tma a chlad. Nic pro slabé povahy. Tady se hraje pro všechny nesvaté, prokleté. S krvavou jiskrou v oku. Vše je ohlodané na kost a odehrává se v podobném stylu, jako to umí kapely typu PROFANATICA, ARCHGOAT, BLACK FUNERAL, BLACK WITCHERY, JUDAS ISCARIOT, VON a spousta dalších, kteří pochopili, o čem je nekonečná temnota. Primitivní riffy, atmosféra plná špinavého ohně, mráz, usazený hluboko v kostech. Takhle vnímám novinku "Black Star Gnosis" já, i všichni démoni. Syrový, zničující zvuk (recorded and mixed by VJS at Dirge Forge), chorobný vokál, riffy ostré tak, že po nich odpadává maso od kostí. K tomu si připočtěte divoké bicí, do černé mlhy zahalený obal (Art and design for Black Star Gnosis by Ixithra) a máte před sebou skupinu, která připomíná v mnohém jezdce apokalypsy. Tohle je hudba ze starých, prašivých kobek, ze hrobů, ve kterých jsou uloženi padlí mniši. Když budete poslouchat pozorně a půjdete kolem kostela, budou se obracet kříže směrem dolů. DEMONCY hrají postaru, neobjevují nic nového, ale jsou tak návykoví, že jim určitě podlehnete. Stačí jenom věřit na peklo a zhasnout všechna světla. Ocitnete se na starodávném obřadu, budete se děsit každého stínu a modlit se k Belzebubovi. Troufám si tvrdit, že se nové album opravdu povedlo. Tohle je šílenství, chaos a nekonečné rouhání. The band dates back to the 1990s. If you look into the history, this pack hasn't recorded a weak record. The gentlemen have forever dedicated their lives to the cursed metal of death. This year, they come up with another ritual. And after 11 long years underground. The beast has reawakened.
It is classic, traditional and very orthodox black metal of the highest quality. No compromises, no uselessness. Just darkness and coldness chopped into small pieces. Nothing for the faint of heart. This is for all the unholy, the damned. With a bloody sparkle in their eye. Everything is gnawed to the bone and played in a similar style to bands like PROFANATICA, ARCHGOAT, BLACK FUNERAL, BLACK WITCHERY, JUDAS ISCARIOT, VON and many others who understand what endless darkness is all about. Primitive riffs, an atmosphere full of dirty fire, a chill settled deep in the bones. This is how I, and all demons, perceive the new "Black Star Gnosis". Raw, devastating sound (recorded and mixed by VJS at Dirge Forge), sick vocals, riffs so sharp that the flesh falls off the bones. Add to this the ferocious drums, the cover wrapped in black mist (Art and design for Black Star Gnosis by Ixithra) and you have a band that in many ways resembles the horsemen of the apocalypse. This is music from old, dank dungeons, from the graves where fallen monks are laid to rest. If you listen carefully and walk past the church, they will be turning the crosses downwards. DEMONCY play the old-fashioned way, not discovering anything new, but they're so addictive that you're bound to fall for them. All you have to do is believe in hell and turn off all the lights. You'll find yourself at an ancient ceremony, dreading every shadow and praying to Beelzebub. I dare say the new album is a real success. This is madness, chaos and endless blasphemy.
