Po některých lidech zůstane jenom krvavá stopa. Bolest se navěky otiskne do myslí všech, kterým ublížili. Usmívají se za mřížemi a jejich oběti sedávají ve tmě a neví, jestli si mají podříznout žíly. Je mezi námi stále až příliš zla a nenávisti. Když potom takový člověk zemře, jeho hrob bývá zapomenut. Jenže jsme tu ještě my, staří fanoušci death metalu, kteří díky morbidní hudbě exhumujeme jejich rakve. Aby se nezapomnělo, aby navěky shořeli v pekelných plamenech. Existují kapely, kvůli kterým se vždy vydám na hřbitov, abych si užil jejich hudbu.
Jedněmi z nich jsou SADISM z Chile, jejichž hudba mě provází celý můj metalový život. Pánové nikdy nenahráli slabší desku a stejně je tomu i letos. "Obscurans" je opět starým, prašivým odkazem dávných časů. Tohle je smrtící kov, na kterém jsem vyrůstal a zůstanu mu věrný až do své smrti. Až navěky, amen!
Pokud jste zažili počátek devadesátých let minulého století a nosili jste džínovou vestu, vyměňovali si kazety a čekali dlouhé dny na dopisy z fanklubů kapel, potom asi víte, o čem píšu. Poslouchat nové album těchto zkušených veteránů, je opravdu jako exhumovat plesnivý hrob někoho zlého. Z rakve se na vás vyvalí smršť nekompromisních thrash metalových a deathových riffů, které vás doslova rozsekají na malé kousky. Budete pohřbeni zaživa! Skladby v sobě mají takovou tu černou a prašivou patinu, kterou máme my, staří psi tolik rádi. Líbí se mi obal (Patricio Saavedra and Ricardo Roberts), který se přesně hodí k atmosféře nahrávky. Oceňuji i ostrý a syrový zvuk (Recorded and mixed by JP Donoso and Israel Yévenes at Sadestudio, Santiago, Chile). Je obdivuhodné, že si kapela stále drží vysokou kvalitu. Songy v sobě mají drive a sílu, touhu ničit muzikou. Pokud bychom potom chtěli hudbu těchto maniaků k někomu přirovnat (což je tedy trošku troufalé, ale budiž), tak bychom mohli zmínit smečky jako MORBID ANGEL, VADER, SADISTIC INTENT, MALEVOLENT CREATION, POSSESSED, SLAYER. Zkrátka a dobře, stará, poctivá a upřímná škola. Žádné pózy, žádné zbytečnosti, ale jenom ryzí hudba u které praskají víka od rakví. Po některých lidech zůstane jenom krvavá stopa. Bolest se navěky otiskne do myslí všech, kterým ublížili. Pohřběte je hluboko pod zem! A může jim k tomu hrát "Obscurans"! Existují kapely, kvůli kterým se vždy vydám na hřbitov, abych si užil jejich hudbu. SADISM opět odvedli perfektní morbidní práci! Temný, prašivý death metal, ze starých prokletých chilských pohřebišť!

Then when such a person dies, his grave is forgotten. But there are still us old death metal fans who exhume their coffins thanks to morbid music. One of them is SADISM from Chile, whose music has been with me all my metal life. The gentlemen have never recorded a weaker album and the same is true this year. "Obscurans" is again an old, dusty reference of the old days. This is the death metal I grew up on and will remain loyal to until the day I die. Forever and ever, amen!
If you lived through the early 1990s and wore a denim vest, swapped cassettes and waited long days for letters from bands' fan clubs, then you probably know what I'm writing about. Listening to a new album from these seasoned veterans is really like exhuming the moldy grave of someone bad. A whirlwind of uncompromising thrash metal and death riffs will roll out of the coffin and literally chop you into little pieces. You will be buried alive! The songs have that black and grimy patina that we old dogs love so much. I like the cover art (Patricio Saavedra and Ricardo Roberts), which fits the atmosphere of the record. I also appreciate the crisp and raw sound (Recorded and mixed by JP Donoso and Israel Yévenes at Sadestudio, Santiago, Chile). It is admirable that the band still maintains its high quality. The songs have drive and power in them, the desire to destroy with music. If we wanted to compare the music of these maniacs to someone (which is a bit presumptuous, but so be it), we could mention bands like MORBID ANGEL, VADER, SADISTIC INTENT, MALEVOLENT CREATION, POSSESSED, SLAYER. In short, old school, honest and sincere. No posing, no uselessness, but just pure music that makes coffin lids crack. Some people leave only a trail of blood. The pain will forever be imprinted on the minds of all those they hurt. Bury them deep underground! And they can play "Obscurans" to go with it! There are bands that always make me go to the cemetery to enjoy their music. SADISM have done a perfect morbid job again! Dark, dusty death metal, from the old cursed Chilean burial grounds!
