Bloudíme šíleným světem, abychom se nakonec všichni sešli na starém hřbitově. Těším se na každé nové setkání, na každou seanci, na každou novou oběť. Žijeme převážně v noci, krmeni strachem nemocných. Posloucháme chorobný black a death metal. Nesledujeme současné podivné trendy. Zahaleni v mlze, přísaháme na absolutní zlo v muzice. S belgickými tmáři DIKASTERION se setkávám poprvé a musím rovnou napsat, že jsem si jejich nový obřad vychutnal.
Odpovídá totiž přesně tomu, co mám rád i já, starý prokletý pes. Pro nás je nové album určeno. Hoří jasným černým plamenem. Je chaotické i chladné zároveň. Stačí jen otevřít rezavou bránu a vstoupit. Přímo do plesnivých katakomb, přímo do pekla. Venku se dávno setmělo. Oltář je připraven. Poklekněte a poslouchejte pečlivě.
Pokud uctíváte modly jako ARCHGOAT, BEHERIT, HOLY DEATH, BARATHRUM, tak se vám určitě bude líbit i nové EP těchto démonů. Skladby musely být napsány v hlubokém podzemí, v chladných a mrtvolných hrobkách. Odpovídá tomu zvuk i obal, i celková produkce. Tuhle desku budete poslouchat, než vstoupíte do očistce a i potom obrátíte všechny kříže směrem dolů. Ve skladbách je taková ta stará, poctivá prašivá síla, tlak a energie. Muzika působí až promitivním, základním dojmem a je to moc dobře. Žádné zbytečnosti, jenom špína, hnis a krev v očích. DIKASTERION si na nic nehrají, jsou opravdoví, ctí tradice a dělají to velmi poctivě. Pokaždé, když mám chuť na nějakou ďábelskou seanci a štve mě současný umělý svět, zavřu se do své kobky, ulehnu do rakve a poslouchám "Chaos as a New World" stále dokola. Odstřihnu se od všeho a jsem jenom já, hudba a tma. Mám potom děsivé noční můry, rád se potkávám s nemrtvými a vzpomínám s chutí na dobu, když se takhle hrálo. Upřímně a od srdce. Ne, pánové nepřinášejí nic nového, ani převratného, ale to ani není účelem. Pokud to máte stejně jako já, tak si v klidu otevřete pivo, vypněte všechny sítě světa a přidávejte postupně hlasitost. Myslím, že budete spokojeni. Tohle je totiž staroba přesně podle mého gusta. Nikde nic nepřebývá, nikde nic nechybí. Bloudíme šíleným světem, abychom se nakonec všichni sešli na starém hřbitově. We wander through the crazy world to finally all meet in the old cemetery. I look forward to each new encounter, each séance, each new victim. We live mostly at night, fed by the fear of the sick. We listen to morbid black and death metal. We don't follow the current weird trends. Shrouded in fog, we swear by the absolute evil in music. This is the first time I've met Belgian darkies DIKASTERION and I have to write straight away that I enjoyed their new ritual.
For it corresponds exactly to what even I, an old cursed dog, like. The new album is for us. It burns with a bright black flame. It's chaotic and cold at the same time. All you have to do is open the rusty gate and enter. Right into the moldy catacombs, right into hell. It's long past dark outside. The altar is ready. Kneel and listen carefully.
If you worship idols like ARCHGOAT, BEHERIT, HOLY DEATH, BARATHRUM, you will definitely like the new EP of these demons. The songs must have been written deep underground, in cold and dead tombs. The sound, the cover artwork and the overall production matches it. You'll listen to this record before you enter purgatory and even then you'll turn all crosses downwards. There's that old honest dusty power, pressure and energy in the songs. The music has an almost primal, primal feel to it, and it's a very good thing. No unnecessary stuff, just dirt, pus and blood in the eyes. DIKASTERION don't play around, they are real, they honor tradition and do it very honestly. Every time I feel like a devilish séance and I'm sick of the current artificial world, I lock myself in my dungeon, lie down in my coffin and listen to "Chaos as a New World" over and over again. I cut myself off from everything and it's just me, the music and the darkness. I have terrifying nightmares afterwards, I like to meet the undead and remember with relish the time when they played like this. Honestly and from the heart. No, the gentlemen are not bringing anything new or groundbreaking, but that's not the point either. If you're like me, just crack open a beer, turn off all the networks in the world and turn up the volume gradually. I think you'll be satisfied. Because this is old age just the way I like it.
