Začalo to pomalu. Nejdřív si se bál světla, potom přišly děsivé noční můry. Měl si chuť na syrové maso a nikdo se ti nevydržel dívat do očí. Vyhledával si místa, na kterých se stalo něco zlého, nasával si shnilou atmosféru. Byl si návštěvníkem na všech pohřbech v okolí. Žil si ve stínu a živil se lidskou bolestí a utrpením. Dodnes netušíš, kdy se to stalo, kdy si se stal prokletým. Teď už je to jedno. Když se podíváš do zrcadla, vidíš před sebou zrůdu. Byl si takový vždycky, pamatuješ?
Švédští maniaci HUMAN HARVEST, pod kterými jsou podepsáni Jonny Pettersson a Jon Rudin (bicí), jsou zpět se svým druhým dlouhohrajícím albem. Opět dostanete pořádnou porci shnilého masa. Surový nářez, hororový obal, spoustu morbidních nápadů. Tohle všechno dohromady z vás udělá nemrtvého.
Pokud máte rádi valivou a temnou kombinaci death metalu, grindu a absolutní tmy, potom se zde hraje i pro vás. Osobně se mi líbí masivní, hutný a syrový zvuk (opět Jonny Pettersson). V některých snech se mi zdá, že se pomalu rozpadám v prach. Stane se ze mě přízrak, který navěky bloudí temnotou. Při poslechu nahrávky "Death Storms" se cítím úplně stejně. Jedná se samozřejmě o hluboký undergound. Líbí se mi i black metalové pasáže, kterých sice není mnoho, ale dělají celou desku pestřejší. Jakoby se kolem skladeb vznášel hnilobný pach smrti. Album by klidně mohlo být soundtrackem k nějakému krvavému hororu. Také máte rádi, když padne na město černý mrak a vzduch je těžký? Dusíte se v ulicích a čekáte na bouřku. Tyhle songy jsou takovou mocnou přírodní kalamitou. Mají v sobě velkou sílu. Musíte sice přistoupit na to, že byly skládány několik metrů pod zemí, ale to vy určitě rádi uděláte. Budete za to odměněni zlými a nenávistnými náladami. Procházím se podzemními chodbami a potkávám stejně prokleté, jako jsem já. Také se nejdřív báli světla a potom k nim přišly děsivé noční můry. Jsme na tom stejně. Všichni posloucháme "Death Storms" stále dokola. Stalo se pro nás zvrácenou modlitbou, mantrou pro vyvolávání sil z druhé strany. Vzduchem se vznáší pach smrti. Už dávno mi nevadí, že nikdy neuvidím světlo. Zde je mé místo. Ve starých kobkách, v katakombách věčnosti. Po boku všech nemrtvých a HUMAN HARVEST. Povedená záležitost pro všechny tmáře! Death grindový masakr v záhrobí!

It started slowly. First you were scared of the light, then came the terrifying nightmares. You had a craving for raw meat and no one could stand to look you in the eye. You looked for places where something bad had happened, you soaked up the rotten atmosphere. You attended every funeral in the area. You lived in the shadows and fed on human pain and suffering. To this day, you have no idea when it happened, when you became cursed. It doesn't matter now. When you look in the mirror, you see a monster in front of you. You were always like that, remember?
Swedish maniacs HUMAN HARVEST, signed by Jonny Pettersson and Jon Rudin (drums), are back with their second full-length album. Once again, you get a good portion of rotten meat. Raw beats, horror cover art, lots of morbid ideas. All of this together will make you undead.
If you like a rolling and dark combination of death metal, grind and absolute darkness, then this is the band for you. Personally I like the massive, thick and raw sound (Jonny Pettersson again). In some dreams I feel like I'm slowly disintegrating into dust. I become a phantom that wanders forever in the darkness. Listening to "Death Storms" I feel the same way. It's a deep underground, of course. I also like the black metal passages, which are not many, but they make the whole record more colorful. It's as if the putrid smell of death is hovering around the tracks. The album could easily be a soundtrack to a bloody horror movie. Also, do you like it when a black cloud falls on the city and the air is heavy? You choke in the streets waiting for the storm. These songs are such a powerful natural calamity. They have a lot of power in them. You have to accept that they were composed several meters underground, but you'll be happy to do that. You will be rewarded with evil and hateful sentiments. I walk through the underground passages and meet those as cursed as I am. They too were afraid of the light at first, and then the terrifying nightmares came to them. We're the same way. We all listen to "Death Storms" over and over again. It's become a twisted prayer for us, a mantra for summoning powers from the other side. The smell of death is in the air. I don't mind never seeing the light again. This is my place. In the old dungeons, the catacombs of eternity. Alongside all the undead and the HUMAN HARVEST. A fine affair for all darkies! Death grind massacre in the beyond!
