Říká se, že lidská krev chutná sladce. Netuším, ale dost často o tom přemýšlím. Jsou mezi námi. Nesmrtelní, krvelační upíři. Přišli ze starých časů, z dob, kdy byla smrt ještě přirozená a obyčejná. DER TRAUERSCHWAN jsou pohrobci HETROERTZEN a touto tématikou se zaobírají. Zajímavé je, že jsem zrovna nedávno dočetl knihu Dracul - Dacre Stoker & Jonathan Dylan Barker. Ihned, po několika prvních tónech jsem si na ni vzpomněl.
Atmosféra, zde vyjádřená pomocí black metalu a doomu, je v příběhu hodně podobná. Temné ulice, ve kterých lze spatřit přízraky. Něco je pravda, něco jenom sen. Nevěřící kroutí hlavou, ale důkazy jsou jasné. Prokousnutá hrdla mladých dívek mluví za vše.
Nicméně, hudba je zde velmi podmanivá, poutavá, snová a melancholická zároveň. Kapele se povedlo perfektně vyjádřit smutek, strach i určitou jedovatost, která je patrná všem skladbám. Texty jsou inspirovány anglickými romantickými básníky a příběhy o vampirech. Nahrávka je velmi podmanivá a stylově ji lze zařadit do devadesátých let minulého století. Tristan Moreau, který je podepsán pod všemi nástroji, produkcí i grafikou, vás vezme na dlouhý výlet bez konce. Je jen na vás, zda uvěříte. Mám rád podobná díla, která mají jasný a zřetelný koncept, silné motivy a zároveň spoustu zvláštních a podivných nálad. Pokud jste obdivovatelé třeba takových SUMMONING nebo MY DYING BRIDE, myslím, že vás osloví i "Sanguinare Vampiris". Album vám pronikne i do snů, pokud jste více vnímaví a posloucháte nejen ušima, ale i srdcem. Musím napsat, že je pro mě nahrávka takovým mým, soukromým objevem. A to i přesto, že se většinou pohybují v jiných stylech. Získala si mě svojí opravdovostí, syrovostí, pochmurnými náladami i jasným rukopisem. Novinka je plná silných skladeb, zároveň působí velmi kompaktně, uvěřitelně. No řekněte sami, nepřemýšleli jste někdy, jak chutná lidská krev? Je opravdu tak sladká? Tajemný, magický, black doom metalový vampirismus!

However, the music here is very captivating, engaging, dreamy and melancholic at the same time. The band manages to perfectly express the sadness, fear and a certain venom that is evident in all the songs. The lyrics are inspired by English romantic poets and stories about vampires. The recording is very captivating and stylistically it can be classified in the 1990s. Tristan Moreau, who is responsible for all the instruments, production and graphics, will take you on a long journey without end. It's up to you to believe. I like works like this, which have a clear and distinct concept, strong themes and a lot of strange and weird moods at the same time. If you're a fan of the likes of SUMMONING or MY DYING BRIDE, I think "Sanguinare Vampiris" will also appeal to you. The album will also penetrate your dreams if you are more perceptive and listen not only with your ears but also with your heart. I have to write that the record is a kind of private discovery for me. And this despite the fact that they are mostly in other styles. It won me over with its sincerity, rawness, gloomy moods and clear signature. The new album is full of strong songs, at the same time it feels very compact, believable. Well, tell me, haven't you ever wondered what human blood tastes like? Is it really that sweet? Mysterious, magical, black doom metal vampirism!
