Pozvánku jsem dostal na dřevěném víku od rakve. Byla napsána krví a očekávalo se, že budu o půlnoci na starém hřbitově za městem. Těšil jsem se, zakázané chutná vždy nejlépe. Mrtví začali vylézat z děr přesně na čas. Od hlíny a se smrtí v očích. Překrásné zombie, nešlo odolat. První chladný tón, první ostrý riff. Švédští THE GENERALS jsou zpět s novým albem a hrají nám k tanci a poslechu. Kosti chřestí, občas někomu odpadne maso, nálada je pochmurná. Přesně takhle to mám rád. Hroby jsou otevřeny!
Jak je všeobecně známo, tak kapela hraje čistokrevný death´n´roll severského střihu. Hudbu, která kdysi vznikla ve starých márnicích, mezi prokletými těly. Stačilo několik nocí na hřbitově a nová deska "To Hell" mi pronikla přímo do krve. Novinka se totiž velmi dobře poslouchá.
Pokud jako já k smrti zbožňujete starou švédskou death metalovou školu, budou se vám líbit i THE GENERALS. Spousta dobrých nápadů, chladný a mrazivý zvuk, melodie, které vás opravdu donutí k poslednímu tanci, tohle všechno dělá z nové desky parádní dílo k tanci a poslechu. Veškeré ingredience jsou namíchány v přesně tom třeskavém poměru, který mám tolik rád. Vždycky tančím s těmi nejvíc sexy zombie a nebudu na tom měnit nic ani tentokrát. Cítím zde odér starých ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER. Jedná se o tradiční, klasický švédský death metal načichlý alkoholem, cigaretovým kouřem, plísní a spoustou temné energie. Líbí se mi neurvalost, rebelie, touha se porvat s celým světem. Zároveň jsou THE GENERALS ale velmi dobří muzikanti, kteří dokáží navodit opravdu shnilou atmosféru. "To Hell" je deskou pro všechny, kteří ještě nezapomněli tančit na svých vlastních hrobech. Je odkazem doby, kdy byl smrtící kov ještě upřímný a ryzí. Hergot, nalejte mi někdo pivo, musím si desku pustit ještě jednou. Z tohohle hřbitova nepůjdu jen tak pryč. Zůstanu tady, přidám volume a budu se těšit na další dlouhou noc. Severský death metalový masakr, u kterého praskají víka od rakví!

The first cool tone, the first sharp riff. The Swedish THE GENERALS are back with a new album and they play for us to dance and listen to. Asparagus bones, sometimes someone loses meat, the mood is gloomy. That's exactly how I like it. The graves are open!
As is well known, the band plays a pure-bred Nordic death´n´roll. Music that once originated in old mortuaries, among cursed bodies. It was enough for a few nights in the cemetery and the new album "To Hell" penetrated directly into my blood. The novelty is very well-listenable.
If, like me, you adore the old Swedish death metal school to death, you will also like THE GENERALS. Lots of good ideas, a cool and chilling sound, melodies that really make you dance to the last dance, all this makes the new album a great work to dance and listen to. All the ingredients are mixed in exactly the crackling ratio I like so much. I always dance with the sexiest zombies and I won't change anything this time either. I can smell old ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER here. It is a traditional, classic Swedish death metal smelling of alcohol, cigarette smoke, mould and lots of dark energy. I like rudeness, rebellion, the desire to fight the whole world. At the same time, THE GENERALS are very good musicians who can create a really rotten atmosphere. "To Hell" is a record for everyone who has not forgotten to dance on their own graves. It is a legacy of a time when death metal was still sincere and pure. Damn, someone give me another beer, I have to play the record one more time. I'm not just leaving this cemetery. I'll stay here, add volume and look forward to another long night. Nordic death metal massacre, with coffin lids bursting!
